Panos Lazanas holds an MSc and a PhD in electrical engineering and cognitive psychology from Wits University. He has received many awards for engineering education, the most recent being the Vice Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Award at the University of Johannesburg in 2013, and the Engineering Faculty Teaching Award (the highest teaching award in the institution) at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2015. He is also a registered international neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) trainer registered with the Southern Institute of NLP
