Author A. W. Jurgens

Alan Walter Jurgens completed his PhD at the University of Wollongong in Australia. He acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which the University of Wollongong is built and where he is able to do his research. He pays his respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as the first people of Australia. He is working within the enactive framework, focusing on investigations of neurodiversity, narrativity, and how institutions shape individuals’ cognitive habits and affective patterns.
