Author L. Nie
Lin Nie received her BA in mathematics and psychology at Franklin and Marshall College. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Center for Ecological Study of Perception and Action, at the University of Connecticut. Her research interests include interpersonal coordination, haptic perception, affordance, embodiment, self-organizing systems, and is conducting a thesis investigating laws of coordination in ensemble and partnering improvisation dance. In her spare time, she dances, choreographs, and reads phenomenology.
